My Lucky Ace |

I laughed hard, when others would fall; only their weakness is what I saw. I've been cursed with abundant strength, since the youth of my days. Other's often draw from it when they no longer can find their own way. I am now at a cross road and there you stand in the middle. Wanting you has become such a haunting and strange riddle. I've laughed often, when I saw other's going down. Shaking my head at them, acting as if they would drown. I am no fool, by far. I can take what life deals me. But, I never expected once, this lucky ace, she has slung at me rather ruthlessly. So if I go ahead and play this lucky ace right in my hand; will I win or lose? For I am gambling with a heart of such an intense and bewitching man. I often curse myself, as I continue to play for it was so easy to sever my ties and for him to choose. So now, I neither curse nor bless, this hand I have been dealt; I am enthralled that my lucky ace has turned out to be you. |

Thank you Albino Jen and Midnitesun for your honest words. And there is times, I wished I could pass the curse of strength on to others! Lol! |
