Sorceress I curse she, the sorceress of my mind The tricks she plays in poet’s rhyme The tales she weaves in silken verse Of maiden’s love and widow’s curse Though not as simple at first it seems She not awake me in metered dreams Neither incantation nor witch’s spell But ignites desire which burns as hell A fire my wand oft refuses to tame An inferno sparked by muse of flame And so I ride furious the up and down Flying upon broomstick as her clown I point finger at my shameful accuse The meandering sorceress of my muse Then in mocking voice, I hear her say It is your wand I am compelled to obey And in relaxed recline and poet’s still Commanded words shall appear at will |

(smiling) I would trade my muse and her demands on days for one that was less demanding... Nicely done... good meter and rhyme work... stuff I struggle to do myself...and if the world waited for me to write like this, they would wait for many a day between posts.. Oh..yeah that might not be such a bad thing... lol I enjoyed! |

You have really mastered your muse in my opinion here Ha ha this is the darkest expression I have ever seen you use.
