These are actually song lyrics from our band (Idleeyes) but I thought I'd post it to take me to 50 posts as really music and lyric writing was what got me into poetry and this is one of our better ones. Written to the Crowd Corridors of faces Lighting overhead They're happy to bear witness to the music in his head Stiff fingers from the cold Cold heart from what's been said They're happy to bear witness To the music in his head Banished to the corner The pen on his paper's dead They're happy to bear witness To the music in his head Yet why are they so happy? As he wails about couples wed? They're happy to bear witness to the music, in his head. Everybody hurts, take comfort in your friends, cos everybody hurts sometimes |

thanx as soon as I find a recording i'll send it over, we've sent all our cd's to venues and stuff and I forgot to copy them onto my computer, as soon as a get another copy i'll send it over Everybody hurts, take comfort in your friends, cos everybody hurts sometimes |
