Daylight comes, forfeiting the mist of pleasant sleep
Stirring conscious once again, in quiet dawning seep
Fluttering contented dreams that hold your image close
Whispered on the sheer white curtains open windows boast

Skimming on the light of sheets just barely making sense
Caressed against my cheek still warm in dreamed pretense
Filtering to mind a touch to bring the senses stir
Awakened and aroused the drift of voices soft in purr

Wonders blowing on the fabric covering just there
Rising to salute the dawn in visions peaking bare
Cooler than the blanket that has covered me in night
Breezes filled with scents of summer on a winsome flight

Rising me to lift my eyes from sleep and see again
Sunrise waking through the open glass to clouds of white wisped thin
Surrounding of my shoulder and guiding me to stand
Daylight comes blown kisses sweet and gentle by the hand

This is so beautiful, Kathleen. I loved it
all, but this part stood out to me.....
