I had a dream the other night,
you were there..
Funny how you show up at the most
inopportune times..
I remember cool spring days
(sweater weather)
spent circling sights
like vultures.

Even now the sunset
reminds me
of the first time we met
and I've passed on regret,
but why?

I've felt like your cancer for the longest time.

For the seconds of twilight,
I catch the seasons glimpse into my eyes..
Who stated that the trees have never
felt so restless? Like
leaves in a toronado
caught up sweeping..

My limbs never felt so free..
(sweater weather)
I was given the rare chance to breathe
it on in,
but why?

I've felt like your cancer for the longest time..

nice write about sweater weather,, the thoughts of it cooled me down some it's 115 hear in Az. today,,,

Today IS sweater weather in Kansas...rainy and cool. A beautiful day!

I certainly understood the analogy of being a cancer in one's life - even when you wish to be a healer...
