GOODNIGHT Look, here I've found you, But you've found me And even the timing fits If time ever really fits But I'm with you... My mind once was strong And now you face the empty rage of what a warrior once was But that look in your eyes has touched me And my rage fades. I am left standing with my eyes open And tears falling in the face of your beauty I've never looked into eyes like yours I never will again... I will not move my gaze from yours For you strengthen this old soldier And you touch his heart. After all, you found me, Or was it that I found you? Oh well, even the timing fits for divinity And you are grace... I will hold your gaze for this moment in time... Eternity has never been so pleasent. Goodnight. |
