Nan, Marti, Sharon, where was I when you girls met?

And where was I when you girls met
At Red Sox game in Boston town
I'm green with envy you must know
My face shows a big frown

How lovely was it to see you all
On places that I've been too
I'm homesick Nan and Marti sweet
I'm homesick Sharon, for all of you

I'm saving pennies day after day
Next year I'm planning a trip again
I want to see you all once more
It's hard to say "I don't know when"

The travelling I did there on my own
Gave me pleasure beyond expectation
And meeting all those poets dear
Makes me long for one more occasion

Sweet memories I live on now
Till I've saved the pennies I need
September last year made my heart leap
In warm embracement of friends indeed

We'll meet again someday I know
Because I love you all
So be prepared in waiting of
My unexpected call

Geez, this brought back memories so sweet, my heart fills up with joy. Thank you girls for bringing them back to me.

Titia, how very much I miss you and remember with fond memories our visit at the Cape.

Nan's 'new pad' is real near the beach you and I got 'soaked' on when we walked and chatted and giggled!!

Save those pennies and looking forward to seeing you again one day.
