i’ll bet my photograph lost it’s prior privilege on the desk the other night perhaps a left hand tossed it with a proper amount of disgust into an empty, idle drawer or maybe it will find it’s way over to the hibachi drifting carelessly atop cold coals doused with half a container of lighter fluid and torched in a morbid burning of bridges later, I know you will prepare a salmon filet from this same fire i am sorry to say but the lemon pepper and inevitable cocktail will not mask the bitter, lingering taste i am not proud i do not boast my casting as the villain but at the very least i am a forgettable face opposed to your favored nostalgia i don’t need to be kept on a shelf (or a desk) to collect particles of dust roused by your movement no worries your thoughts won’t be interrupted by the girl who shouldn’t know the gate code or by bare feet traipsing down your entryway to lazily knock on the door and murmur, “housekeeping” this maid has already taken the linens (never purchased) they will not clutter your life anymore |

yes, life does not always turn out how anyone suspects it will. people make plans, and the audience laughs. [This message has been edited by CaseyLeigh (06-27-2003 02:24 AM).] |

you silly little girl.....dont you know that I dont have the foresight to burn you down...like the tower of light that shines upon those more blessed than I...instead of burning why dont you persevere youself for the coming of truth..July 6th or thereabouts?? a sober review by Steven Doherty this is great, its unfortunate that we have to murder each other in order to churn these things out...id rather write bad poetry and live a peaceful existance with you....anyhow, I think this is the best thing you have written, it is tight, not a line is wasted and the language fits together perfectly....you need to write more....bring a pad of paper down to the boardwalk, im sure therell be plenty to inspire you.... Yes, you should post a whole lot more.... this was brilliant, sadly captivating! I've been that fish out of water, raked over the coals and laid to rest. Not to mention the picture that's been tossed. oh k sara, sara. Life's a beach, but you gotta love the intermittent breeze~ |

Great exposition -- you took the mood and carried it, built on it all the way through. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

I see that one of the administartors has changed my signature to what is written below...perhaps you have children, but I am not one of them...you dont like what I say, dont read what I post.. I have a dirty mouth and little respect for others [This message has been edited by Ron (07-01-2003 09:07 AM).] |

I really love the language this speaks. I'm bringing it up for another round. Surely someone else will find it aftter me. "You put a stain on all of my good days." |

I could relate to that very well... I liked the attention to detail, and the ending was perfect. It was a poem i had to read twice, just to make sure it was real. |
