Today your smile was brilliant
So much brighter than any star.
Yet your eyes captured me...
Today they were so green,
On other days
So very blue. Those eyes see
Through my soul, see the love
Within my being. I cannot hide
My thoughts from you. You know
Me too well. We don't need
Words to express the depth
Of what we feel. We know the person
Who resides on the inside so
Intimately. We are not dewy-eyed
Teenagers. We are mature adults...with
At least a half a century between us.
I know this one thing...I cannot
Imagine living this life without you.
You are treasure beyond treasure
And, I am the Queen of your heart
As you are the King of mine.

Bravo, well spoken, I liked the entire poem, but loved the last two lines especially!
