A STORMY NIGHT WITH STORMY THOUGHTS...

The storm it rages out tonight
The rain pelts down with such ferocious spite
I lie in bed and think of you
And wonder what if our lives had
Taken on a different course
Would we be here together listening
To the storm vent her anger on the world
Would we be here together if at all?
But now the storm has ended with her violent ways
And still my thoughts of you are here to stay
When will the storm return - noone will say
When will my thoughts of you go away
Please God, let them be with me forever
