Suthern Sweet-Talked By Ratleader & Cpat We didn’t know it but we worked together, Cpat from one side and I from the other…. Seems there’s a sweet lady – writes things for herself and then doesn’t share them; they sit on the shelf with her fans all awaiting the next thing she’ll post but unless Suthern feels like posting, it’s toast! So me ‘n Cpat did a bit of sweet-talking (a gent’s only hope for a lady who’s balking), got her confidence up and then I did seek a promise to post one-a-day for a week – and the lady agreed; for us fans it was heaven, except that today she put up number seven.... ROFLMAO... truly. LOL The werk monster isn't even going to believe that I'm working... not one darn project is down there on the floor where I'm rolling around, holding my sides and gasping. LOL You are a brat... I nearly had a heart attack when I saw that array of poems back at the top! What ever it took to get her to blow off the werk monster and fight with that slooooow home computer of hers...it was worth it and we reap the rhymes divine... SO..since you boyeeees have a way with getting your way...remind her of a certain Motown poem that she needs to repost. The moth tried but I guess I just aint sweet talking enough  All I can feel is this distance between you and me. |

I guess I can never again claim to keep a low profile, right? LOL But how you've filled my heart... I can't say I'll continue to post daily... but I will try to post more often... if only in thanks to a couple of very busy people who took time to give the gentlest of edits and the greatest encouragement to a cowardly pen pusher who doesn't know whether she's written poetry or not. *S* You aren't just talented poets... you are true gentlemen... and this balky broad appreciates you so much. *S* Thank you, Ed and Ron... I never knew nagging could fill my eyes with tears of gladness. *S* |

ah... I didn't do anything..I think Ed was the sweet talker and motivator here.. If anything I played background nagger on my naggerphone while Ed did the sweet talking and convincing.... cute piece Ed...lol... and you should stand up and take a bow... you are the one that convinced her, not me... |

I can't believe Suthern would hold out on a man like that! Holy cow, all that talent just toast. Come on girl, cough them up. I mean it or it could get ugly around here. I'll sick the boys on you. Well Rat and Cpat..you've accomplished what I've tried to do for years....but, I'm just a Toerag, and nobody takes me seriously......I've read so many of Suthern's poems over the years and just gave up on trying to get her to post them...at the old Thrive...where a few of us lurked before we came here...I don't visit here often anymore but glad to see you two have Suthern doing what she should be doing....Posting her lovely poems...good job guys... |
