A Place to Go

I sit and think my comfort chair
And gist the seem that I would dare
List and link the terminals up
Fix a setting of buttercups.

It lets beneath a golden sky
The air is warm and so am I
Water washes sand and earth
And fantasy has given birth.

To passer by I am in bleak
Do not disturb the picture speaks
The old man must be counting sheep
He’s off again and sounds asleep

But I am not asleep my friend
And head on chest is not the end
I do enjoy an Eden’s den
And there pursue my favorite hen

She is my love of youthful fair
A paradise again I wear.

Ahhh caught you cat napping again Sy!
But, this is when we do have some of our most vivid images.
Seems yours are of the fairer sex.
Good for you!  And it's a beautiful day for a daydream.
Tea's on..served with a smile & a hug, Nancy.

I do so enjoy
knowing that your dreams
are so very special...

Let them think you are asleep ...
they need not know the sweet dreams you keep.
They need not see the tears you weep ...
or the fears you steep in dark places deep.

They would not understand the seems of slumber's sweep,
Like Bopeep, they only know counting leap of silly sheep.

Water washes sand and earth
And fantasy has given birth.

youre sooooo cool. I am so loving those
couplets of class.

Nancy,
Besides tea with you, cat naps are my favorite to do.

Sunshine,
You are often in my naps you know. Hugs

JM,
You are the garden Randy flies
With me on his back in cheering cries
And we bring you flowers every day
In the shape of words in rhythms play.

Good morning!

I'd love to sit in your chair and absorb some of your creative genius! I get goosebumps just thinking of the greatness that was conceived there--er, I mean great writing that was conceived there! LOL

Most of my creativity springs from my bed! I awake with poems that beg to be written!--and I wish some of them hadn't been so persistent! LOL

Loveya, T-Man!
