I no longer
cast a shadow
but wear mine
wrapped as chrysalis

Embraced by
the darkness of
thoughts that lay
in depths of spirit

There is as much risk
in hiding from them
as in confronting them

From within grows
the strange sense
of excitement that
only danger produces

To conquer them
or allow them to
conquer me
the ultimate reality

I no longer cast a shadow
but wear mine wrapped as chrysalis

What will break through?

Your fun soul, but only if you play in the midnightsun this summer in Alaska. in July, you really have to work at being in the dark.
meanwhile, I'm going to loan you my magic flashlight

As you might have guessed, I've been thinking on just this thing.

I started out just thinking threes
oh. The holy trinity
Ego, super, and the id
worm cocooned to be what IS...

:squeeze;

very deft, intelligent writing.

and yanno doncha? It's the hard shell of the cocoon that gives chrysalis a bad name.

Beautiful and insightful Raph
as always

To conquer them
or allow them to
conquer me
the ultimate reality

indeed and a scary thought at that
I love this one
truly . . . a beauty in itself

I have fear
I know truth
I realize
I have no other way

*shrugging shoulders*
dunno where that came from but it came

but wear mine wrapped as chrysalis

as he faced the sun he cast no shadow....oasis.-reminded me of that.

classic raphael this is, with all too many truths.
