* * *

This is dedicated to all the
males poets at PIP who set so
many hearts a flutter with their
beautiful words of love and romance

* * * *

The gentlemen of the quill
May write of maidens in distress
Their words are smooth as silk
Just like a lover's soft caress

They share great flights of fancy
And leave you breathless for more
You feel your heart uplifted
Your feet barely touching the floor

They write with much endeavour
Dotting i's and crossing t's
Their words have so much feeling
And are always sure to please

Hearts of passion are revealed
Within each and every line
So, gentlemen, I salute you
For your words make me feel fine

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you
- Shawn Mullins

Why shucks and darn be diddily....
But of course....you know it is all the
soft moans and sighs that keep us quilling
away...

Thanx Sue,  speaking for me only,  I do
appreciate this....

Startime - Thank you so much for your humble reply and I knew you'd agree.

Barry - Promise me that this won't inflate your ego too much, but, I actually wrote this with you in mind.  The pleasure is all mine and I thank you for the beautiful words that flow through your quill.

Take care......Sue

Sandra - It's so lovely to see you and thank you for your words.

David - It is so easy to tell when someone has written from the heart and when one is genuine.  Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you enjoy your time at PIP.

As a gentleman of the quill, I thank you for your tribue.  It is beautiful as it is true to the heart.  Just remember that it is the wonderful, caring, and beautiful women in our lives that cause and inspire us to greatness in poetry.

"There are three things men can do with women: love them, suffer for them, or turn them into literature."

This lovely poem may be yours alone, but the sentiments aren't! I totally concur! We are so fortunate to read their words on love and romance---but dear poetess, we are fortunate to read yours as well!

Lovin' hugs,

Sue, this is so special and 'our men' certainly deserve all the praise and kudo's we can dish out!

Thanks for writing this ... I'm sure they are thrilled and most grateful.

Sue,
Aw dear girl... You whose quill is so skilled in words of love and passion. You who always spreads such tender thoughts of emotion. Hmmmm...how would you know? I wonder? May I say, graciously, what a treat you have offered here.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

What a beautifully written, well deserved tribute. *S* I can't imagine PIP without the incredible depth, talent, humor and heart they share with us daily. *S*
