Jean

At times when all is rosy
and I walk through life with glee
To times when I fell broken
I know shes there for me.
At times when I am hurting both in body and in mind
I know that if I falter
Shes just a step behind.
And when the road seems lonely
and it seems a foreign land
I know that if I reach out
she'll be there to take my hand.
Theres times when I am hurtful
wether meaningful or not
she manages to love me
and the hurtfulness forgot.
I often sit and wonder
how I'd live if on my own,
no-one to share my laughter
or to listen when I moan.
And when all others fail me
forsake me, leave me bare,
I'll always have an ally
beside me she'll be there.
So no matter how I tell her
how I need her in my life
No words can show how much I love
My friend, my love, my WIFE

You don't sound like a newlywed,
but you certainly have the heart of one.

You also have a very fortunate, loving wife.

Does she write poetry as well?

David:

hold fast . . .
it is a lonely road alone
You are blessed indeed
