Oh this untimely gent, standing before the luxury of
my recline.  Who, pray tell might the caller be upon
this late and listless hour?

Having read countless words during the course of a
compressed fortnight of perhaps a morn, now simply
batty from a quintillion of syllable and vowels from
authors clueless of the meaning of comprehendible
literacy.    Here, at the foot of my feet, a quaint and
portly figure in seemingly ragged attire.

Vatt is dis?  This language uttered from one who
does not know the meaning of a language based
upon English...  Vat are zee doink vith zee papuh?
Vatt....I mean What?  What paper?

Zatt papuh, zere on zee table, see zit?

Oh my, now clueless of the meaning of this
conversation, what might I do?  Struggling,
now wondering if perhaps the liquor has
imbibed me that I might be suffering from
delusions and confusions.  When suddenly,
in less than a blink, ka-bonk!  Square upon
the forehead with an empty wine bottle.

Minutes passed until the fog dissipates,
prompting me to hurl a salt shaker at this
uninvited guest.  Accomplishing only to
break the glass of a picture overseeing the
room...I swear it was staring at me...

And....looking around...wondering....
Hearing the latch of the door clink...
A voice, now perfectly clear to me,
beyond the now shut door....
“I am an angel.....only one wing,
The Angel of the Odd”....

I love this Barry. I am sitting here shaking my head at you and smiling bigger than life. Angel of Odd indeed. I think the Angel of Odd is my guardian angel, Barry, really I do. LOL

I think I will go read some Poe.
