The Rose Petal As I did my morning Garden chores I bent down to smell a Rose Its wonderful scent reminds my of you A petal from it fell into my hand Its silky texture felt like your skin With finger caresses I tenderly touched it I imagined I was touching your face So as I go on with my day I will carry this petal with me And in my mind your face I will see |
