The Cowards Way Out Your times of silence That left me in doubt Maybe you are using The cowards way out In avoiding questions Always evading reply Deceitful are cunning Being gutless and sly In grovelling excuses The user often returns Only you could know My heart often yearns Heart left open ended My mind going insane The reason of silence May I ask once again Having me convinced His words persuasive I should have realised Liars remain evasive Hope©2003 |
