I rode the trail in warmth of sun, watched the shadows play before. A silhouette had joined my side and whispered thoughts of learning more. And so, I entertained his words with answers mine, returned in smiles. It wasn't long before we reached a length of trail, marked ten, of miles. The breeze of riding kept me cool, while ease of talk made time fly by. We stopped by stream to catch our breath and laughed when joking in reply. Today I found the calm within, enjoyed expressions reaching out. Tomorrow is another day, another ride, another route. Tonight I go to poet's read exercising my thoughts in rhyme, hoping that they'll understand the heart of me, elapsed in time. "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." (Will Moss) [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (04-28-2003 06:37 PM).] |

Thank you...I was sort of uplifted yesterday. The weather was perfect for a bike ride along the old railroad bed. ~smiles M |
