I walk along dirtied streets
the icy wnd makng my cheeks pink
my nose is frozem
my thoughts focused on you

My headphones strapped to my ears
every corner I turn
every note in my head
I think of you

I slosh in dirty shallow puddles
I deeply inhale the fresh scent of rain
I smile as i walk along
the grass so green
agaisnt the darkened gloomy skies

I am almost there
so warm it will be

I am on my way
rain or shine
with a smile on my face
every step so farmiliar
I retarce
music memories
whne we used to walk together
along the street

starting to get dark
streetlamps pale orange glow
gide me safely home

I am almost there dear
I am almost home
