Sitting back watching the days go by Wondering why eyes have to cry. I'm stuck in the middle of the big black clouds I'm not saying a word, not making a sound People don't realize that life goes fast Deep down they know it, but they let it pass. I don't know which group I'm supposed to be with I talk to people; they don't listen; so I'm dissed. I think that everyone wants just one good friend One that they can count on, till the very end. I believe that every one has a soul, They just don't use it; so they really don't know. Everybody has their own little hobbies, but I? I'm just me trapped in a body Sitting back watching people cry Wondering why lies never die. I'm stuck in the middle of unsaid words I'm shutting my ears, haven't really heard People don't understand that some need help Deep down they want to, but they let them yelp. I don't know why it must be this way I talk softly, they disagree, and we'll pay I think that everyone just wants to be embraced. One too many problems have been laced I believe that everyone has a soul They just don't use it; so they really don't know Everybody has their time of sobbing, but I? I'm just me trapped in a body. |

This is a very touching poem to me. I don't know if it's written from personal experience, but I could feel hurt in it....especially in the last verse..... I think that everyone just wants to be embraced. One too many problems have been laced I believe that everyone has a soul They just don't use it; so they really don't know Everybody has their time of sobbing, but I? I'm just me trapped in a body.
