Just the slightest tease of sky I feel in morning cloak of seam a humbled lash against the true of pewter day locked out for dream Can't I stay here one more kiss a float in lavender air to breathe the mist all twisted in tidal whirl poured on pillow I'm soaked unfurled The sky is stitched with magic now where every butterfly's a dream and every dream bound outward seeking desperately a world And yet one kiss is all that matters one kiss to hold, an amulet, a charm against the parting, and a share of us unsold Until tomorrow or a turn of time and dream when dreams return to rest, to stay, to find the sun and to be captured, free.
