He He took my hand, and I, I trembled through each promise his body made to mine and He...like Neptune rising from the thunderous seas of his soul..... dove into my ocean of dreams......freeing me and I, I never wanted to open my eyes And then He took my heart, and I, I melted into his private eternity of a moment stopped in time and He.....like Mercury....lightening swift....delivering his message... swept me away.......keeping me close and I, I was delivered and saved And He, he shrouded me in melting heaven.....and I, I was standing still but with fire burning through the inside out...and He...like Zephyros....blew cooling breath back into me....and I, I was quietly enraptured in He |

Thank you so much guys I started writing about four years ago and I really love it. It is a great way to let feelings out and hopefully touch someone else in some way. Thanks again Kielo! I really appreciate it. I have always loved to write pretty much anything from short stories to research papers I know I know, crazy huh! Dylan Thomas inspired me to try my hand at it. There is no piece of poetry that better expresses my view on living than "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Goodnight".Look forward to reading your work, Amber |
