Toys and Wars With careless abandon, and the flourish of a pen, Ivory towered spectators turn boys into men, Empty are the ball courts, forlorn the tinker toys, scattered the erector sets, silent the game boys, It’s easy being sorry, when we haven’t got a clue, no monopoly of conscience, It’s war, what can we do? Have pride in our children support our fighting men, And pray for G.I. Joes’s and Jane's, ‘till they come home again. Olias. |

A wonderful prayer for the young at war.... So sad!!!! Bridgette "Somewhere, somehow, it should be possible to touch someone and never let go again. To hold someone, not for a moment but forever." Unknown |

Oh yes!! They need all the prayers they can get, and this is so well written with thoughts that we all share. They are coming home little by little...back to where they belong. Thank you OLIAS for sharing this one! Accept these small gifts from my gypsy heart ~~S~~ |

Brad Majors: Thank you, kind sir. JustBleu: Youth and innocence are often the greatest casualties of any conflict sadly. Thank you for your reply. Sunnyone: Thanks for reading and replying, I too wish them all God's Speed. Serenity Blaze: Thank you, can't seem to lose that facinatin' rythmn, be well. Thanks to all Regards, Olias. |
