In the ancient lines
of time, we are
relative to time travel.
Past heart echoes off
a future heart. Becoming united,
married in a future-past
relationship. Scenes
of steamboats chugging down
the Connecticut River
as horse-drawn carriages
lumber by...a vision
that steals my soul away. You,
me, time, all interspersed.
Our eyes meet in a quiet
understanding. We are meant
to be. You and I...past dreams,
future hope. Destined to never
repeat...only grow deeper
and fuller in a timeless love.
