I think we all have our ghosts that haunt us, alas, the one that got away will never die. All we can do is right our wrongs, and hope that they shall come to pass our way again, and perhaps see us in a softer light. You write so deeply and so beautifully... I suspect you know that too. Dictionary: for·get: To be unable to remember (something). To treat with thoughtless inattention; neglect: forget one's family. To leave behind unintentionally. To fail to mention. Gee Ed, I don't think you are quite there yet, but memories are wonderful things and from them you take what you want that was good into the next phase of life. I truly enjoyed your poem though. |

Her abilities amaze me But, only in retrospect The thing about loving unconditionally is that you love regardless of whether that love is returned or not... and you keep on loving even if it's not appreciated until it's too late... and even if you never know it was finally appreciated. *S* Incredible write! |
