God’s Jewel

Godlike, his child
Close to emergence
And then back inside again
Like a piece of glass
Close to the surface
Tearing away at the skin

All of his dreams
And awakenings
There is no silence here
Muddled mind, random thoughts
Sensitivity’s fog
Yet the power to see what is real

The waves surround, but
He’s steady and strong
From all that creation holds
Subduing the anguish of his soul
With the power and glory
Of love

He’s been afraid
I understand
Too much to clarify
He already knew
Now I believe, too
No need to justify

The moon and the stars tell his story
The truth pulls away at the veils
His peace and his love
Build the trust in my heart
For with God’s child
Love never fails

The moon and stars tell his story..as well as the sun..the galaxy..the earth..the sky..the grass.. the oceans and seas...the animals....us. His love never fails..your writing is truth and I thank you for writing it. Touched me..truly it did.
