Stay with me
a little while
walk me through
this tangled forest
of thought
into open glade
where your beauty
mingles with flowers
in the sun
that I may draw
deep within
the scent
of love pure

How's this for changing gears, see I may be cynical and dark but I have dreams too. Mind you in all honesty I don't believe in them anymore so I'll stick to the shadows thank you

Where's TinkerBelle when we need her?
I like this side of you - so when you
feel feisty and want to show it?
I'll be watching!

ah... dreams and believing in them... tricky.. for all seem to fall short of the ideal and we are left with the bitter sweet all too often and are likely not to know when the dream is met...

enjoyed this side of your pen.. and can see should the woman come into your life that makes you fall... you indeed will be a mess to pick the gravel out of. One does not write with as much passion as you do and fall easily...

Thanks Karilea these moments are few and far between but glad you liked this

Cpat when referring to me and specifically someone loving me these lyrics by Fiona Apple come to mind

Hunger hurts and I want him so bad oh it kills
Cuz I know I’m a mess he don’t wanna clean up
I got to fold cuz these hands are too shaky to hold
-Hunger hurts, but starving works, when it costs too much to love

ya know..except its She instead of He in my case

Raffaele nice to discover your romantic dream, I just see you walking hand in hand with your love ..... DO believe! Dreams do help us to survive!
..... and sometimes, often, quite often they come true!
Amore e fiori! Il profumo ti fa girare la testa!

Oooh, I like this side of you. The other side isn't so bad either...lol. Your writing is quite intriguing. Chris

listen:

Rise up my dark star...face into the night,
Come out of your corner..shine for the night . . .

You know the rest . . .

This is beautiful . . . may your
midnight moon meet the sunlight . . .

I love this

Raph, I missed this the first time around, too. I love to read your dreams that you write about. And.....dreams really do become reality sometimes.

Raph, perhaps if you thought and wrote like this more often, you would draw this type of energy towards you! Just a thought!

I do enjoy your dark writing as well but I'm a firm believer in our drawing to one's self that which we project.

You are a very versatile and creative writer!

thanks to inkedgoddess for bringing this back around and to Earth Angel for finding its energy. This write is as strongly positive as his others which are questioning, if not damn dismal at times, which we love to experience.  :-)
