Waltzes Detached they wonder in the night Fireflies of once delight Stars that lit a world of grand Waltzes of a phantoms land. In and out they come and go On a wind of thoughts they flow Breezes teasing me my goal Beating at my door my soul. Bits and pieces of my past Thoughts that came and never last Do a dance as best they can Steeped in humor of a Pan They will not stay with me the day They stop a moment just to play Give me nectar just enough And look to me to call their bluff. And though it’s not enough for me It fills my sail when I’m at sea. |

I'd dance with you across the moon ... with or without a tune of swoon. I'd waltz with you 'cross sands of time ... keeping step to the cadence of your rhyme.
