I listen to the nora jones imagining your face enthralled thinking that I sing like that? and loving you for just the thought. I see you in an apron tied wishing I had crafted bow-- the pride of me upon your neck the scent of us upon your breath and whiskers that remain unshaved greet me with the joy of that the thought of you in mind... Nudge your butt from the bucket and playful flicks from fingertip waterpark from just a lark teasing you by pout of lips-- I want to greet you at the door of a place we both call home and just the very thought of that makes me be a good girl now... Watching you in sweaty jeans serious intensity telling me how it should be where the sun will swell the crop as you hammer in the stakes of tomatoes growing tall-- I love you watch you plant our faith I hear the church bells thinking harp as the sun plays on your skin I love to watch you stretch-- I'm caught a bit of charcoal washed in rough with creases prominent by knead... smiling wrinkles of my thoughts and light is just a touch of us dabbing at the grays on rust-- picking up the blues of hues where life remains untouched. Let me bring you some iced tea. Let me wrinkle, bruise the leaves of the mint that we will plant in a distant corner--thought-- a place where mint can still be stealth-- and wishes are a complement to tones of white on black made gray-- I plant the thought of us and pray We grow these smiles upon my face... |

as the sun plays on your skin I love to watch you stretch-- I'm caught . . OHHH, how I know this, Karen. My Love pleasures in getting me out in public places where I have to be a "good girl" and then doing one of his big exaggerated stretches that I love so much. (Well, I'd better hush now......the smiles are getting pretty big on my face about now!!) Hugs and thanks, Karen!! Ethel |

Your writes are so full of images I do not need x-ray vision to see through your poems for all we need is spelled out and clear just in a different light then one might expect. Thomas |

So many voices raising; All of them are praising. Me too!! Just an elegant expression of love and sensuality. KJ Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |

This is the way it is supposed to be - a little Norah, Alicia Keys, Dianna Krall, and a lot of tender loving going on. Ummmm, this was yummy. |
