The rain gently falling Giving life to the earth Flowing through the eve’s And rushing down the street Swirling in a whirlpool Going down the drain Running through the sewer To a lake far away Joining flowing running out to sea Under the sun drying steaming Joining the sky To once again start as rain You are a good poet as soon as you try to reach others with your words. |
