Departed Destination

why do I
want so much
when so little
is understood
and damn this
tyrant heart
for beating
when in death
even my pen
betrays me
my words
and emotions
somehow
do not match
I find
no comfort
in change
and I
do not know
what day it is
and ache
to be touched
in the curve

I always found the curve was a good place to touch...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

(big hugggssssssss) This is very heartfelt, dearest friend, what's the point if you don't know what time it is, you just have to treat it like a vacation someties as long as the beach umbrella holds up! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Helen, this one really touched me. I can feel the
hurt in it. Sometimes our feelings and the way we want
to feel, just don't match, do they? Past hurts have
a way of creeping in when least expected.
Hugs to you, Lady

The ache of change I have felt, and you wrote these feelings so well.  I felt the confusion, hurt, anger, and fear in this piece, and perhaps it is good to vent that in the curve.  In any case this was extremely well done.
