This is the first poem I ever wrote. It came to me in a dream, when I was in high school. It may reflect a first attempt, but I'll let you guys be the judges ************************************ Riding along the curves in the street, In the rain He doesn't care - He's the Skateboard Sailor, lighter than air... He travels along the radical swurves That engulf him in their light. They always seem to follow him, even after he's gone. When he's gone - From the curves in the night - The Skateboard Sailor will remember How he once mastered the streets. |
