You can look up to all the others They all look the same Blonde hair blue eyes Skinny that’s not a surprise They are all “perfect” Everyone wishes they were that Sometimes these wishes go to more than just thoughts Sometimes people go to extreme measures They get lost in their wants Their wants of perfection And that is what they plot To be like all the rest Tight jeans tight shirt So they carry through Making their plans come true Stepping on the scale time after time Losing pound after pound They lose the weight That they do Things that used to matter Don’t matter anymore Thinness is all they care about that is for sure Caught up in the tide of things they need to accomplish Don’t look at the things they are destroying Though they may be famished, they still don’t eat Exercising and not eating is all they need Some get help Some do not And when there is not Anything you can do You turn to nothing Cause nothing is there to help So when thinness takes over your life Get help Don’t live your life with nothing but want Want for something that could stop you right in your spot. |
