Stretching muscles and mind matter
to the limits this morning,
I think I finally understood
what Yoga teacher Priscilla meant.

"Forget the what ifs,
go forward to the next time"
mindset and thought pattern.

It's a waste of time and energy
fretting
over what you shoulda or coulda done.
The only way to get out of the hole
you dug for yourself
is to wake up each day,
look in the mirror and say

"Next time,
I'll get it right"
"Next time, I'll be smarter"
"Next time, I'll think about
the consequences
before I make my move."

Next time
implies forward movement.
All else is
history...

While not disputing what Enchantress said, I do know if you say if over and over and over again....it does get easier....

I guess that's what patience is all about.

Yes, Nancy, it's a lot easier to say than do!

Karilea, yes, and even the leg stretches are getting easier now that I've decided to do them every day instead of once a week

It has been said many times before
that good judgement comes from experience
...and experience comes from bad judgement.

Let us all hope next time is simply joyful..
and not more experience.

Nicely written..KJ

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Kacy,
Couldn't that get you into a position you couldn't get out of? And hey I have a collection of yoga tapes from Ginger...interested?

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

(sigh) Oh Kacy, this is wonderful, sweet friend, what ifs are all just a waste of time, even if we realize the mistake, we are just as guilty then just not rising to the occasion at godspeed! (sad sigh) This is wonderfully spoken, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Words of wisdom. I really enjoyed this one.

Day after day I'm more confused,
So I look for the light through the pouring rain...

wow, after I got unbent from that last position, I caught up with the rest of you in here glad you had fun

Yes, some postures in life are hard to learn, some we can do without, and some we'll never figure out no matter how far we stretch ourselves!
