the wings of a moth
beat away at the day
trying to follow
not wanting to stray
but not all of us can keep up
we can't all be heroes
so some of us give up
like the little moth with wings full of dust
who found himself lost
just when he thought he'd found the rest of us
so goodbye to you fallen friend
i never saw you before and i'll never see you again
