They stopped by this morning to drop off your things, a bundle of memories wrapped within dust, photos and rings. The air became still within this cold room. Outside I saw the flowers fall from the sweet broom we had planted together alongside sweetest lavender and sage on the slope near the heather. As the memory of you sat silently upon my heart like morning’s dew, I wept alone quietly holding last handful of you. Our song ended too soon, our bouquet did not last. I fear I shall only want to live in the past, for a future without you is bleak and without hope, and my heart breaks each time I look out at the slope where we planted our dreams, while today I shall sprinkle in rhyme the last essence of you, buried within silent screams. ... you wept alone quietly ... but now we are two! This is a wonderful poem dear Kacy, certainly sad, but there is sweetness in this longing. But as the plants renew their blossoms each year, so you must renew your heart too ... keep it open for a new song of love. Love, Margherita ![]() |

Life is a garden, a place to raise dreams, end thirst with tears, but most of all ... to remember the years. Passions and love ... Craig |

Midnite...The memories that grow within the garden, in time become sweet. I wish this for you, as I have found. ![]() |

Oh how I cried as I read this! "The air became still within this cold room."- I could sense the tragedy here, wow! "As the memory of you sat silently upon my heart like morning’s dew, I wept alone quietly holding last handful of you."- This is so beautiful and yet so very sad ![]() "Our song ended too soon, our bouquet did not last."- how could one not cry here? "I look out at the slope where we planted our dreams, while today I shall sprinkle in rhyme the last essence of you, buried within silent screams."- Oh this is one of the best and most tragic verses I have ever read! This poem moved me deeply, thank you so much!!! I wish to offer you so many condolences, but what could I say that could make such a pain fade away? ![]() Mike ![]() |
