I want to be tomorrow. I want to be tonight. I want to be the spectacle. I want to be the light. I want to be the sorrow, someone's final sight. Might I be at some point, someone's secret wish? To have an equal share of the take and of the give. Can I be important, first above all else? I know I am not worthy, but I do still live. I want to brush forever, not touch death afta' bleed. 'Cuz all the pain I have, is all the pain I need. I thought my anger and sadness was greater than anyone else. And all those nasty tears ruined my pretty dress. We all are just screwed up, "I'm just worse than you." Inside we all are saying, "If you only knew..." ~*I'm gonna go ahead and apologize for the previously edited word, which has become a new word. I'm a serious potty mouth, but I usually manage to keep it out of my poetry. In fact, I rarely use 'em in poems.
