The sky is clear No rain is near You can smell The scent of freshly bloomed Flowers in the air You look out over the pond And look at all the lily pads And the flowers that bloom With them You see the fish swimming In the water And once in awhile Jump up and eat a fly The alligator Is on the shore Suning itself In the warm, warm sun The birds talk As they fly over head The spot their prey And eat their meal For the day Sunshine on a happy day Makes it even happier I say Cold hands means a warm heart |
