Based on Biased memories I walk down corrupted hallways Filled with shattered dreams and goals Broken glass between my toes In each shard I see my tear streaked face And wonder what happened to all my grace Taken away are my words of wisdom I used to give Now I seek And always forgive Cant get out of the endless halls Door after door Walls upon walls There is no way out of the haunted house of my mind So I weep in the dark Cobwebs touching my spine note-this seriously is the BEST poem I have EVER written.I dont know where the inspiration came from but wow-i am amazed by the result. And I know that I couldnt have done it without the site. Reading all your poetry has really improved my writing...thank you SO much.Ive only been here 2 days and already im a better writer!!! |

I have to agree that this is a wonderful poem, a dark theme, with honestly good images. By the way, more reading is the way to writing better, and so keep it up - this was great!

I also agree that the wonderful poetry at PIP, written by all these talented people has helped me. I agree with Myusteria, the more you will read, the more you learn. This is a wonderful site, isn't it? I'm glad that you're enjoying it here. Hugs Ethel |
