You flip the switch and watch the roaches scatter back towards the cracks Raising your arm in your best Heston parting red sea impression you'll laugh though you want to cry The tears will come later in rememberance of all you've had to walk through But for now you get what you came for a drink before bed You'll sleep tonight and pray you wake in a better day in another place |

Raph: how I have missed your daily inspirations . . . The problem is that most of the time they catch me barefoot - you know caught by surprise Just when you think they have gone and left you alone - here they come a creepin and I'm not talkin bugs . . . but you already know that Love the Heston reference . . . (I havent seen that in sooo long) I wrote one called "BUGS" . . . I'll have to go and tweak it up a bit (get one of those HUGE flyswatters you know they come with a big bug? I didnt catch that the first time around - you know what is really funny is Heston is portraying Moses, who is Jewish - you know like the movies with the white guy playing an Indian . . . same thing - funniest movie you ever saw . . what prey tell do you watch for cartoons? |
