I allowed emotion to touch my lips, but you had no reply. I offered my thoughts to you, but you bound my tongue in fear. Speechless, I was silent. Silenced by Silence. And nothing remained, Nothing but... Silence. |

Oh Pat, This really grips my heart; conjures up many emotions in spite of silence, or because of silence of finality... Nothing worse than opening up to one whose own fears have to be acted out through us...fear of feeling... You wrote this well.
