How and What

How loud must the bells toll?
To cloud the weather of the soul
How hard must the rain beat?
To wash the grime upon your feet

What visions in the light
Can change the course of mental sight
What dreams within the mind?
Can set a path that you can find

What ache within your heart?
Can censure all the things you start
What change within your birth?
Can save this garden mother earth

How long must humans live
To learn the lesson of forgive
How long to end the goal
The maturation of the soul

Will the forging of our steel
Ever give to us the real

Oh, you test our minds once again dear Seymour. Such questions I suppose will not be answered truly, until we ourselves depart. Now where is my sister with the tea? Blueberry muffins are ready. hugs, Chris

Sy you've asked some very deep questions in the poem...I'll spend the day looking for the answers...you have a talent for challenging us to look into our hearts..

believe in what your heart feels...

Oh Sy!  It's Saturday and now I have to think of all your questions...
No matter...I'll do my best to find the answers..
And if not?  We can sit, have tea, and talk about it!

Seymour, I don't know the answer, but I sure do wish this stupid ache that makes me "censure all the things I start", would just disappear. You know, though, the ache is getting dimmer every day, I think. Maybe real soon it will be gone completely and I can get on with the rest of my life with my Honey-love. I don't really believe he would  ever treat me the same way the one who put the ache there treated me.....and that person is gone now, so I don't have to worry about him hurting me ever again.

Goodness, my friend, that one little part got this brain to working this morning. LOL

A very excellent, thought-provoking write, as always.
Thank you, Sir.

Hugs

Mr. T., you are one who does knows "What" and who does know "How"!

I posted a rictameter for you yesterday, entitled "Seymour". Take a peak! You have some wonderful replies to read!

To forgive is to love and let go of our past mistakes.  Thank you for the gentle reminder that life is much too short to harbor grudges.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this~
Thank you Sy~

(big hugggsssssss) I have no clue, but as long as politicians are cowards and what our fathers used to say keeps getting ignored and these varying definitions of freedom and other words are made, it will remain as thus! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, you speak with much wisdom, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
