Words of choice--

The awesome, discriminate gift

to wax in eloquent reign
o'er the page amidst the rift,
and revile the sensationalist' pain.

Of love, this due--

May extravagant flamboyance thrive

deep within the blanketed white
    of virgin ream, scripted, alive
thru' poet's tumultuous might.

Comes to task now--

A meted and mettled link

far removed, the separatist' chide
replaced a supplicant offer of thanks
from open hearts, no more to hide.

Love, this spendthrift--

Ripples upon open mind

unceasing balm, a love upon verse
exacting no price for a turn in kind
freeing the magic where answers converge.
