As the music sings its way through his mind He thought in a bottle, freedom he'd find But he could not forget the past. Back up, slow down, don't run so fast. The forever turning hands of time Bring memories most tender and kind. A flame that still burns so bright Grasps at his heart strings tonight. A piece of his heart she will always keep While teardrops from his eyes freely weep. Although she has now gone away, Her memory will always stay. In a safe place in his heart, At night alone in the dark. His dreams now all quietly lie As he remembers true love gone by. |

This is so sad. But the poem was beautifully written. Cold hands means a warm heart |
