As the music sings its way through his mind
He thought in a bottle, freedom he'd find
But he could not forget the past.
Back up, slow down, don't run so fast.

The forever turning hands of time
Bring memories most tender and kind.
A flame that still burns so bright
Grasps at his heart strings tonight.

A piece of his heart she will always keep
While teardrops from his eyes freely weep.
Although she has now gone away,
Her memory will always stay.

In a safe place in his heart,
At night alone in the dark.
His dreams now all quietly lie
As he remembers true love gone by.

This is so sad. But the poem was beautifully written.

Cold hands means a warm heart
