Advice To Krissy On Emma’s Wedding Day

Oh what a wonderful scene to see
My Emmabear is a bride to be
All decked out in frothy white
With a train that flows way out of sight
If my eyes go misty you’ll know why
But its Krissy that’s now making me cry

Krissy isn’t too happy yes it’s true
In fact her language turned quite blue
But we must let Emma have her way
And hide what her family want to say
So Krissy please don’t make that face
Or say that the groom is a right disgrace

Emma will walk down the aisle
Now come Krissy choke back that bile
And no you really can’t wear black
Or give the groom an almighty smack
Try to smile just for this afternoon
For this day will be over very soon

Just look at Paul, he’s being so good
He’s acting as an older brother should
Krissy, please just try to do this
Come now give the groom a sisterly kiss
Don’t threaten him with consequences grim
Or mutter I am going to murder him

Krissy, you were always a sweet child
Try now to be loving, meek, and mild
It’s not seemly to utter such things
On the day your sister exchanges rings
Today is your sister’s big day
So try to moderate what you say

Emma is getting married, yes really
So tell her that you love her so dearly
And don’t offer to chop up the Groom
Or threaten to beat him with that broom
Be nice and sweet it’s not too hard
And sign this special sister’s wedding card

Krissy, treat your sister well today
And don’t say anything that you shouldn’t say

Marsha

Emma’s wedding is the 12 July 2003 and Krissy isn’t
At all happy about it.

Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds
but I can face the future with courage brave and bold

Ah...congrats?  LOL...but Marsha, that's what siblings do...to protect their own.  No one is ever good enough, but I do wish all well, and I'm sure that once that day is over?  You'll be back in the forums to tell us just how magnificently splendid everyone looked, and how the day went...

and I'm looking forward to that poetic story!

Hugs,

Makes me smile too

Oh I know that face so well, she's showing right now LOL, Kris, it's your sis, so lighten up a bit. I know you feel responsable, but sweetie, Emma is a grown woman who is allowed to make her own dicissions and even faults as it comes to that. All you have to do is accept her choice, nothing you can do about that, nothing you should do about that.

And Marsha, dearest friend, I hope it will be a beautiful day. Make lots of pics to show us sweetheart and give Emma lots of Dutch knuffels from me and Krissy too of course, tell Kris I love her, even when she's mad.

ROFL... Better let Krissy get it all out of her system now... *G*

I hope Emma is very happy... and Krissy... it won't be as good as she thinks... or as bad as you fear. *S* But be happy she's happy. *S*

Love the love in this, mother of the bride. *S*

Mushy,
The joys of growing up! Krissy dear, I still love you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

I cannot in my wildest dreams imagine the tumult happening there over this wedding!!! No one will ever convince me that Ozzie Osbourne and his family did not based their tv show on your family. LOL!

Keep us informed, mushy. I'm sure the details will be hilarious and I don't want to miss a one!!!

Oh Marsha...tell Krissy she can get away with a lot more being a sister-in-law than she can just being a girlfriends little sister. Sisterly jabs and ALWAYS taken with a grain of salt...she can even get away with using that broom if she does it with a smile on her face....HAHAHAHA
