Purple clouds roll over the blue topped mountains In a slow, lazy daze. And I, upon mountain's peak, Looking down, Am disappointed in what I see. Why is it people climb from the ground To see something they've long since seen? I believe it's the feeling Of seeing ruined beauty Farther away So the sight doesn't scorch your eyes. But I, I'd choose keeping my head In the soft, misty bed Of the purple clouds Unable to see anything But the haze. I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man. |

Very deep and lovely images. I like this poem a lot. Make your words as sweet as honey, someday you may have to eat them. |

just looking for stuff that needs another round or two. Don't mind me..just bumping You could hurt me with your bare hands. You could hurt me using the sharp edge of what you say. JEWEL |
