Awww....this is so precious! I find it fascinating to watch the birds get ready for their 'family' in the Spring.

Dear Marge:  We saw many woodpeckers this last week while camping.  Had pileated woodpeckers in camp one day. So big and beautiful, we just sat and watched them.

The Pileated Woodies are the ones that continually build these burrows in the old Oaks~

It's no secret where their construction sites are ... the constant rap-rap-rapping makes me think we're in a hard-hat area !
