Nobody Cares

She screams out in anger
Agonizing over every mistake she's ever made
The tears that flow down her face
Feel like the sound of nails on a chalkboard
Her hands shake, her body trembles
Anger fills her body
She feels like she is going to explode
She tenses her hands, stiffens her back
And yells...screams as loud as she can
But nobody around her seems to hear
They all turn their backs and keep walking away
She screams even louder, so loud her ears hurt
But their images get smaller and smaller
She gives up and stops screaming
She gives in to the anger and fear
As her body crashes to the floor
Her eyes dry up, she has no more tears left
Her fingers feel numb from gripping her hands so tight
Her feet are tiered, to tiered to hold her up anymore
She's completely lost, so sad and confused
Her biggest fear has come true
The nightmare has become reality
NOBODY CARES

What a sad lonely feeling, to scream emotional pain and have the sounds fall nowhere. But wait...there ARE passionate ears listening, here in poetryland.
