To Modify

Shadows gray my fine of seem
And dust of time opines my dream
Subtle loss has worn my hear
Shorn the high notes of my ear

Distil of age has add to sage
But sage has sad the face of gauge
And I am in a twilight sea
Arthritic in the wind that be

I walk the rainbows fantasy
And magnify each ecstasy
And though I ride a phantom knight
The goal is hopeless in my sight

Change has changed my song of sing
And tolls the bells with lower ring
The raven chased the butterfly
And I can only look and sigh

And oh and ah the things that were
The things that made my heart to stir

Though still your mind brushes paint of blue
there is no such thing as a sad sigh from you
for dream's a landscape and you're the man
who still paints poetry with so fine a hand...

JM,
If Tinkerbell has said succumb
Then Randy will surely come
If that is really not the case
Than I will sit and take his place.

Thanks. I am in agreement with the entire message, but especially:
Change has changed my song of sing
And tolls the bells with lower ring

Seymour - feeling abit melancholy to-day? We will just have to waltz those feelings away. Come with me and cue the band -
Your thoughts be light, just take my hand.

Awww, where is my sister with the tea?
Toast with marmalade for thee.

hugs, Chris

One day, one I reach your age, if I make it, I will hope that I have the energy and spryness that you have. You do amaze me
(and I just can't imagine how anyone could have kept up with you when you were younger

Sy...seems there are many lady poets here who's hearts you thrill, and that Randy is still a dandy!

The most consistent thing about life - It's subject to "modification"... or is that "change"?... Either way - You have a way of changing our Passionate mornings for the better, dear Sy...

Melton,
Glad you liked that passage.

Chris,
Never fear your sis is here and we will tea together, :kiss;

Nancy,

Maureen,
You delight my ego,

Martie,
Ah that dandy randy don't fly as high as he used to.

Ah Nan of my heart you were from the start.

stiff muscles and bone
don't keep you off
your poetry throne,
and you never
ever
drone

you seem to have found
how to keep your mind quite flexible

Good afternoon, Mr. T. ~

You simply must join me for some lemonade under the shade of an elegant elm tree. We can while away the hours laughing and talking and reciting poetry. We'll just enjoy the glorious present and revisit not the pains of the past or borrow troubles from the future! We'll just be and enjoy the camaraderie!

Loving hugs,
EA
